01. MAKE LYFE HAPPEN
PERSONAL, EDUCATIONAL & CAREER DEVELOPMENT
Make LYFE Happen is our personal and professional development curriculum. We believe personal development directly impacts how young people show up in school, work, relationships, and their future careers.
Through workshops, learning experiences, education, career development, internships, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, hands-on opportunities, young people build knowledge and skills while exploring what they are interested in and what they want their future to look like
02. HEART LYFE
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH & WELL-BEING
HEART LYFE is our behavioral health and well-being component. Through conversations with young people, we have learned that stigma around mental health can make it difficult to seek support, and some youth may not feel ready to speak with a clinician.
HEART LYFE creates welcoming, relatable, and non-clinical spaces where young people can explore who they are, understand their emotions, manage stress, build healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and talk about what matters to them.
Through travel, fashion, arts, culture, wellness, and other creative activities, we make conversations about well-being more approachable and connected to young people’s everyday lives.
When additional support is needed, we help connect young people with clinicians, behavioral health professionals, and trusted community resources.
Taking care of your heart and mind is part of building a healthy LYFE.
03. NEIGHBORHOOD LYFE
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & CONNECTION
Neighborhood LYFE is how we build relationships and trust within the communities we serve. Through outreach, community events, partnerships, and neighborhood experiences, we meet young people where they are and connect them with Concrete LYFE.
For many young people, this is their first introduction to our work. It gives us the chance to listen, understand their needs, and connect them to LYFE Academy, community resources, and other opportunities.
Neighborhood LYFE also creates ways for young people to get involved, give back, and help shape the places they call home.
We meet you where you are, build trust, and create pathways to what comes next.
