WHO WE SERVE

Concrete LYFE serves the community with a focus on young people of all ages.

Our primary focus is youth ages 14 to 24, including young people in middle school, high school, community college, and those who are out of school. We also engage younger children through age appropriate experiences that introduce them to new possibilities and expand their view of what life can offer.

We prioritize young people who may be navigating overlapping challenges such as economic instability, community and gun violence, toxic stress, school disengagement, housing or food insecurity, and unmet mental or behavioral health needs. Many of the young people we serve are connected to under-resourced schools and communities where access to enrichment, mentorship, and other opportunities may be limited.

Concrete LYFE also recognizes that young people do not grow in isolation. Families, caregivers, and communities are part of every young person’s LYFE. We engage them as part of a multigenerational approach that strengthens the conditions surrounding young people and supports lasting growth.

We meet young people where they are and create the conditions for them to flourish in LYFE.

From a young child experiencing something new for the first time to a young adult preparing for what comes next, Concrete LYFE meets people where they are, creates opportunities to discover what is possible, and helps them grow, rise, and flourish.
