Before you understand the story behind Concrete LYFE, it is important to understand what the name means.

Concrete represents the systems, circumstances, environments, and conditions that shape our LYFE. These systems can include redlining, the school-to-prison pipeline, social inequality, racism, classism, economic disparity, and other structural barriers that have historically limited opportunity for underserved communities.

LYFE represents lives, dreams, goals, ambitions, and possibilities that exist beyond those barriers.

The Y in LYFE is a reminder of your WHY.

Your WHY is the reason behind what you do in life, what you believe in, what you are building, and the LYFE you want to create.
